Shipping & Delivery
We value your custom very highly. We will endeavour to process any orders on the same day they are received. Where this is not possible, or there is the possibility of any delay, the customer will be contacted by email. Scissors which are sent to us to be sharpened will be dispatched back to the customer within 48 hours of receipt.
Where scissors have been purchased from us, delivery costs shall be free. This is the case for sharpened scissors except where the optional expedited delivery, carrying the improved insurance has been chosen on our order form. In this case, the relevant delivery charge will apply.
Privacy & Security
When you order with Scissorfix, you can be assured that your personal information is secure. We will only use any collected information in line with the relevant data information laws. No information will be shared with outside sources.
When you purchase from us, we will ask for information such as your name, address, email address, and contact phone number. This information will be used to provide you with your product, and update you on the status of your order if necessary. If you have given your consent at registry, we will use this information to contact you about future products and services which may be of interest.
Returns & Replacements
We realise that purchasing scissors, particularly online, can be a difficult decision. It may take a few days before the stylist becomes comfortable using a new pair of scissors and indeed there may be occasions where this does not happen. Scissorfix will provide a refund or replacement in such cases, provided the scissor has not been used or damaged. We cannot refund returns postage costs, however, except where the return is a result of our own error. We are pleased to accept returns, providing they are undamaged, within 7 days. Simply contact us by email, quoting your order number, and reason for returning. When you receive a return code, send your product to;

With regard to scissor sharpening, any scissor sent to us is examined prior to servicing. If it is deemed that the scissor is unfit for sharpening or cannot be improved, we will contact the customer prior to beginning any work. If the client wishes the scissor returned, we shall do so free of charge.
In the unlikely event of a client being unhappy with our work, we will ask for the scissor to be returned to be examined. We will ask the customer for details of the problem, and carry out remedial work if possible. If the customer is not happy at this point, a full refund will be offered.

When the customer has created an account, ordering takes place via the shopping basket. The basket has a default setting of one item. Simply adjust the number to suit your requirements, and click on ‘Add to basket’ to continue shopping. When you are finished, a summary of products, quantities, and prices will be available. This can be amended before an order is placed. When your order is placed, a confirmation email will be sent to you.
Payment and Pricing
Our prices are correct as of time of posting on the site; however they are subject to changing without prior notice. All prices are exclusive of VAT.
Payment must be made prior to the dispatch of goods. Scissorfix uses PayPal to process its online sales, so the customer can be assured that their order is secure and guaranteed. If cheques or postal orders are sent, dispatch will be made once they have cleared normal banking procedures.
Viewing Orders and Updating Account Information
The customer can access and update much of the information provided to us with in the My Account area of the website. It is the responsibility of the customer to maintain the confidentiality of his/her password and account.
